CASTLE PLAYHOUSE PLANS

I cut the shield in 2 pieces and had a 3rd piece joining them on the back. 2 hinges. I plan on adding a 3D carved sword to the shield on a hinge with a cable attached to it and a latch mechanism. when you pull the sword, the shield will spring open.

I ended up just going 48" wide all the way up. The panel that covers the 2x6 beams will be installed after it's painted and held in place with removeable lag bolts for any maintenance needed for the climbing grips.

I will be making 16 of these. I'm using STONE spray paint.

Note the extra 2x4 bracing in the corners on the bottom. that really adds strength and is not on the plans.

Also note the bottom beam still runs all the way across here. It doesn't get cut for the door opening until ALL the panels are on.

This is my design for a castle playhouse I'm building for my kids. It features a 10 foot climbing wall and a secret entrance. Lots of detail pats that really make it pop. I'll add pictures as I complete the build.
