BOTTOM PIECE

Print both parts tall with flat sides down. use an M3 screw to lock it in place. for 12mm, 16mm, 19mm, or 22mm push buttons.

Mounts an Arduino Uno R3 to any surface. Has holes for M3 hardware to mount it to your case. Use series 20 M3 T nuts for the square holes in the mount to attach the Arduino to the mount in 3 places with M3 x 12mm screws. I print it solid with a 0.6mm nozzle.

DRIVER COVER

Print both fan shroud and switch cover upside-down. Use M4x16 screws to bolt shroud to front plate. Use 1/4" or M6 screws to bolt front plate to the Demon Plate.

CONTROLLER PICTURES

Print cover upside down. Print tabs on their side. place cover on Demon Shield Board and flip upside down. Put a dab of glue in the pockets for the tabs, then slide the tabs in until they grip the board. allow them to dry.

Print cover upside down. I printed with no supports but I have excellent part cooling which helps the overhangs. The cover slides on and locks in place. All driver dip switches and screw terminals are accessible when in place with the lid slid off which means it can be permanently attached. Mounting for two 80mm fans, two 60mm fans, or three 40mm fans, no thicker than 15mm. I recommend 24VDC 60mm quite fans and connecting them directly to the power supply.

2021 Parts

File is set up for laser or cnc cutting in 2 parts. It should be made from 1/4" material and glued together. it makes it easy for perfect counterbores on both the top and the bottom. the purchased version is acrylic, but may not be clear.

PUSH BUTTON ENCLOSURE

Demon Shield TM for the Arduino uno R3. This is an affordable shield that eliminates extensive wiring when making  a Demon Controller TM for DIY CNC. It includes a noise filter for the 3 limit switches and probe. There are easy connect ports on both sides of the shield for SPINDLE DIRECTION (often used with VFD spindles), PWM, LIMIT SWITCHES,  ABORT (push button connection), FEED HOLD (push button connection), RESUME (push button connection), COOLANT (M7, M8, M9 commands—relay connections), and PROBE. To be used with 3 or 4 TB6600 stepper motor drivers (or similar) and a 15 amp 24VDC power supply.
